Designed to replace the "pull release" clutch system installed originally in the ZR-1 Corvette.  The RAM Release Bearing can be rebuilt and all necessary parts are available.

The original pull release clutch in the ZR-1 works well enough, but now that parts like the hydraulic slave cylinder, clutch fork, ball stud and a good quality throwout/release bearing are very difficult to locate and expensive, it's time to save time and money.  Converting to a RAM Hydraulic Clutch Release Bearing replaces all of those parts and for less cost than a clutch fork alone, and is renewable stock for Jerry's Gaskets.  Apart from all of that, it works great!

Note: Some early 1993 models received the early (90~92) style transmission with the large Front Tube (appx 1.373" dia).  Late model 93' through 95 have the small dia Front Tube (appx 1.315" dia).  Please confirm before ordering.  Many ZR-1 transmissions have been replaced or modified and no longer have the same ZF S6-40 installed.
